Disclaimer
Please read this carefully before using DeFi Roulette.
Who We Are
DeFi Roulette is built by a small team of enthusiasts passionate about provably fair, on-chain gaming. We are not a licensed gambling operator, not a registered company, and not a financial institution.
Our goal is to demonstrate that blockchain technology can make gambling transparent and verifiable. We believe the outcome of every game should be provably fair and independently auditable by anyone.
Non-Custodial Design
We do not hold, control, or manage any third-party funds. The smart contract operates autonomously on the Arbitrum blockchain. Players interact directly with the contract when depositing and withdrawing.
The house bankroll is held in the smart contract, visible on-chain at all times. We do not have the ability to freeze, seize, or block player withdrawals. The cashOut() function is permissionless and available to any player at any time.
Our Vision
Our long-term goal is to make DeFi Roulette community-owned. We envision a future where governance is decentralized and the community has a direct say in the platform's direction.
Beyond roulette, we aim to build a provably fair gaming infrastructure that other projects can use as a backend. An open platform for on-chain, verifiable, randomness-based games -- where fairness is guaranteed by math, not trust.
Risks
- âš Smart contract risk. While our contracts are verified and open source on Arbiscan, they have not been formally audited by a third-party security firm. Bugs in smart contracts can lead to loss of funds.
- âš Gambling risk. Roulette has a built-in house edge of 2.70%. Over time, the expected outcome for players is negative. Never bet more than you can afford to lose.
- âš Regulatory risk. Online gambling regulations vary by jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to ensure that using this platform is legal in your location.
- âš No guarantees. This is experimental software provided as-is. We make no warranties regarding uptime, availability, or the security of funds deposited into the smart contract.
